In 2021, the Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies launched the first edition of the Diplomatic Fellowship Program. The program provides young distinguished diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at several of the Kingdom’s missions abroad over a 12 month period. This on-the-job training experience is designed to immerse participants in the day-to-day functioning of diplomatic missions, preparing them for future opportunities to be posted abroad.
