Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees of the Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies was established by Royal Decree (28) for 2020. The Board is chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and consists of six members. The Board of Trustees is the highest authority responsible for the affairs of the Academy, the approval of plans and programs governing its operations, and the supervision of their implementation.

The Board is comprised of a distinguished group of senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with representatives from other government entities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Board is responsible for the following:
- Formulating the Academy’s general policy and monitoring its implementation.
- Approving plans that ensure the achievement of the Academy’s objectives.
- Issuing academic, administrative, financial, and technical regulations of the Academy.
- Accrediting the Academy’s programmes and activities.
- Preparing the annual budget and final accounts, in accordance with the laws and regulations applicable in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and submitting them for the Minister’s approval.
