The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, commended the efforts of the team behind the 2nd International Diplomats Program “Dhiyafa”, where they hosted diplomats from the countries of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue, and briefed them on the pioneering and sustainable national achievements led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Upon receiving today the IDP organizing team headed by the Director General of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, H.E. Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his thanks and appreciation to the young and creative diplomatic, media and administrative cadres for their sincere efforts in making this program a success, and in performing their national duties efficiently.
The Minister further valued the prominent role played by the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies in preparing an integrated and comprehensive training program for the participants in the program, organizing workshops and lectures in coordination with various government and private sectors, noting that all member states participating in the program expressed their utmost appreciation and praise, wishing the team members continued success .
For her part, MBMA Director General, H.E. Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for his support for the Academy, its initiatives and programs, and for his guidance towards strengthening constructive cooperation with various ministries of foreign affairs and diplomatic institutes and academies of brotherly and friendly countries, in a manner that serves the interests of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the objectives of its foreign policy.
The meeting was also attended by the Undersecretary for Political Affairs, H.E. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and the Director General of Ministry Affairs, H.E. Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al-Ansari.
