Foreign Minister holds online meeting

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met online with the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in which he expressed his sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Days in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini state as an Arab and Muslim country founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, the anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne. 

 
He expressed his thanks and appreciation to all employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their distinguished efforts to develop the Ministry’s work during the COVID-19 pandemic. 
 
He also reviewed the achievements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the year 2020, including the signing of the Declaration Supporting Peace, the launch of strategic dialogue between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, the Ministry’s staff initiatives program, working on the national plan on human rights, and organizing the Manama Dialogue. 
 
The Minister noted the efforts of the Ministry’s committees, praising the role of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Academy for Diplomatic Studies for its efforts in organizing a number of training workshops in various fields. 
 
At the end of the meeting, the Minister answered a number of questions from the employees and presented the future plans and programs for the Ministry.
