Foreign Minister chairs 3rd meeting of MBMA Board of Trustees

Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA), chaired the Board’s third meeting of the 2025–2026 academic year, attended by members of the Board.

The Foreign Minister welcomed the members and expressed his appreciation for their continued contributions to advancing the Academy’s role in developing national diplomatic talent. He stressed the importance of further enhancing the Academy’s programmes and initiatives to meet evolving diplomatic and professional requirements.

Ambassador Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director-General of the Academy, presented an overview of training activities and language programmes for the current academic year, highlighting progress in strengthening the professional capabilities of Ministry of Foreign Affairs personnel.

The Board also reviewed progress on the Academy’s new headquarters project, which is expected to provide a modern learning and training environment that supports the Academy’s future plans for diplomatic education and capacity-building.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Board commended the progress made in implementing the Academy’s strategic initiatives and projects, reaffirming its full support for the Academy’s continued development in line with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ objectives.
