The Director General of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, met with the Director of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, Ms. Tania Mihaylova, during her official visit to the Republic of Bulgaria.
During the meeting, they discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Bulgaria, which are based on mutual respect and appreciation. They reviewed ways to intensify bilateral cooperation and emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences between both sides to contribute to the development of diplomatic training.
During the visit, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies and the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute at the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This memorandum aims to activate cooperation in the field of diplomatic training between the two countries.
On the sidelines of the visit, Dr. Shaikha Muneera delivered a lecture to a number of Bulgarian diplomats titled “From Gilgamesh to Globalization: The Story of the Kingdom of Bahrain.”
