The Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA) organised the second session of the Ambassadors’s Ramadhan Majlis Programme.
It hosted the Ambassador of Cyprus to Bahrain, Dr. Andreas Eliades, as a speaker and was attended by Ministry of Foreign Affairs senior officials and employees.
Chief of European Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainees, moderated the session and thanked Dr. Andreas Eliades for participating in the programme, highlighting the strong relations between Bahrain and Cyprus.
The Ambassador of Cyprus to Bahrain thanked MBMA for organizing the event, highlighting the programme’s role in enhancing bilateral relations and exchange of expertise.
Dr. Eliades emphasised the growing friendship between Bahrain and Cyprus, driven by the commitment of the leaders of both countries to enhance relations. He also discussed Cyprus’s foreign policy with various countries worldwide.
He highlighted key milestones in his diplomatic career, reflecting on his experiences in various countries. He also spoke about the roles he assumed in defence and national security in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The fourth edition of the programme will run for one week during the month of Ramadhan.
