Peace, coexistence is Bahrain’s message to world, says Foreign Minister

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to build bridges of cooperation and friendship with its regional and international partners, and to present its message to the world in spreading the values of peace, dialogue and coexistence among all cultures, civilizations, races and religions, in light of the wise diplomatic vision of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa.

This came during the Ramadan Ghabga of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was held last night in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and senior officials, in honour of their Excellencies the ambassadors and Heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Rami Saleh Wreikat Al-Adwan.

On this occasion, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pride in the leadership of His Majesty the King, and his esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He voiced Bahrain’s appreciation for the efforts of their excellencies the ambassadors in strengthening the close and growing friendly relations of cooperation and partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and their brotherly and friendly countries.

The minister also stressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s constant keenness to provide the necessary capabilities and facilities to enable the diplomatic missions to perform their diplomatic and consular duties in a manner that serves the interests of citizens and residents and contributes to strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between countries on the basis of friendliness and mutual respect. 

The Ghabga was attended by the Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs, Ambassador Khalil Yaqoob AlKhayat, the Director General of Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Shaikha Muneera Khalifa Alkhalifa and chiefs of sectors and directors at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
