Omani Council of Ministers Secretary General visits Al Madar Centre at Foreign Ministry

Secretary General of the Council of Ministers of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed Al Harthy, visited Al Madar Centre at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He was received by Director General of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa; Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Khaled Yousef Al Jalahma; Oman Ambassador to Bahrain, Faisal bin Harib bin Hamad Al Busaidi; Assistant Secretary General for Information and Session Management at the Cabinet, Fatima Abdulghani Ismail; and Chief of the Arab and African Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al Turaifi.

Chief of Al Madar Centre, Ali Khalid Al Araifi, gave an overview of the centre’s work, highlighting its role in monitoring and analysing political developments and regional and international positions. He outlined the centre’s contributions through coordination with various departments of the ministry, as well as Bahrain’s diplomatic and consular missions abroad, in supporting the goals of Bahraini diplomacy. He emphasised that these efforts help advance the Kingdom’s national interests and reinforce its standing regionally and internationally, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed Al Harthy commended the efforts of Al Madar Centre in supporting diplomatic work and promoting cooperation among Arab states. He also commended Bahrain’s progress in the diplomatic field, reflecting its strategic vision and balanced positions that enhance its regional and international standing.
