The Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies organized today the third session of the (Ambassadors Majlis) program in its second edition, with the participation of the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Miyamoto Masayuki.
The online session was moderated by the Chief of Afro-Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Fatima Abdullah Al-Dhaen, in the presence of Bahrain’s Ambassador to Tokyo, Ahmed Al-Dosari, with a number of senior officials and employees of the Ministry.
Ambassador Miyamoto affirmed his country’s keenness to strengthen friendship, cooperation and exchange of experiences with the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields, in order to achieve the common interests of the two friendly countries and people.
The Japanese ambassador reviewed part of his professional career and diplomatic experiences since joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan forty years ago, pointing out the ministry’s interest in teaching its young diplomatic cadres other foreign languages.
He touched on Japan’s foreign policy, and its awareness of the importance of the Middle East region from the political, security and economic aspects, especially after World War II, stressing his country’s keenness to strengthen relations with the countries of the region and maintain their security, stability and prosperity.
The Ambassador concluded by expressing his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and all the Bahraini people for their hospitality and interest in strengthening the historic friendly relations between the two friendly countries, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
