The fifth session of the Council of Ambassadors Programme, organized by the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, was held virtually today.
It was held with the participation of the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Paula Amadi, and in the presence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Italian Republic, Dr. Nasser bin Mohammed Al Balushi.
The session, which was moderated by the Academy’s Executive Director, Dr. Shaikha Munira bint Khalifa bin Hamad Al Khalifa, was also attended by a number of officials and employees from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the session, the Ambassador of the Italian Republic touched on a number of topics and explained the stages of the process of joining the diplomatic work in the Italian Republic, the role of the diplomat, his duties, and his professional development.
She noted in this regard that diplomacy is much shaped by the fast-paced technical and media changes and affirmed the importance of multilateral diplomacy’s tendency in Italy’s foreign policy.
As to Dr. Balushi, he welcomed the Italian ambassador to the fifth session of the Council of Ambassadors Programme and expressed his gratitude to the Academy’s Executive Director for her valuable initiative and stressed the importance of continuous communication and coordination to achieve common goals.
At the end of the session, the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and the Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies for hosting the session and providing an opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas with the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
