His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a letter of thanks from the Foreign Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
The minister extended, on behalf of all the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s affilates, sincerest thanks and gratitude to HM King Hamad for receiving the Ministry’s staff, declaring the January 14 an annual occasion to honour Bahraini diplomats and giving directives to develop the Diplomatic Institute into an Academy for Diplomatic Studies and name it after His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa in recognition of his distinguished status and landmark contributions to laying the foundations for and developing the Bahraini diplomcy.
The royal gesture is a high-level appreciation for all those who have had the honour to serve the kingdom’s diplomacy, the minister added.
Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed expressed deepest pride in HM the King’s constant interest in the Bahraini diplomacy, which, he said, has motivated it to progress steadily and undertake its tasks with efficiency and competence, thus becoming a model to be emulated as an active diplomcy that is capable of achieving its goals to the fullest, while being committed to its long-standing fundamentals and unwavering keenness to promote the noble humanitarian principles that support coexistence and cooperation among all .
The minister pledged to spare no effort in order to enhance the great status reached by Bahraini diplomcy thanks to HM the King’s support, and to implement the sound royal visions and directives to solidify the kingdom’s relations with brotherly, friendly and allied countries and upgrade the services provided to Bahraini citizens.
The Bahrain diplomacy will remain a key tributary to the multiple accompalishments and gains attained by the Kingdom at all levels under HM the King’s leadership, he said.
The minister prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM King Hamad with abundant health and to guide him on the right path to carry on the development and progress march in the country.
