H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Alhiddi
Director of the Studies and Evaluation
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Al Hiddi has held the position of Director of the Studies and Evaluation Department at the Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Acting Director of the Studies and Evaluation Department in 2023 and as the Acting Director of the Academy Affairs Department from 2021 to 2023, in addition to his work in the Minister of Foreign Affairs’ office and as Secretary to the Foreign Ministry Council.
Before joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Al Hiddi worked at the Ministry of Interior, where he held several positions, including working in the Minister’s Office at the General Directorate of the Ministry, the Office of the Chief of Public Security, and the Office of the Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organization. He also served as a lecturer at the Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Institute of Technology for one year and as a designer in the 3D Design Department at AIDA.
His Excellency Dr. Al Hiddi holds a PhD in Project Management from Northumbria University in the UK, a master’s degree in Project Management, and a bachelor’s degree in 3D Design Engineering from the same university. He also holds a Higher Diploma in Police Sciences with distinction from the Royal Police Academy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where he was the top of his class, a Higher Diploma in Criminal Law from the Applied Science University, and a National Higher Certificate in Design Engineering from James Watt College.
