Fourth ‘Ambassadors Majlis’ held

The Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA) held virtually today the fourth session of the “Ambassadors Majlis”, with the participation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Hassan.

The session was moderated by the Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in the presence of a number of employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Sudanese Ambassador delivered a lecture in which he explained the concept of soft power and reviewed its historical and intellectual development. He also shed light on political science and international relations and explained that the resources of soft power are culture, political values, and foreign policies.

The Ambassador also highlighted the role of soft power in border conflicts between countries.

The Ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and to the MBMA Executive Director for being hosted in this session and commended the objectives of the programme.
