Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA), Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, chaired the board’s second meeting for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Dr. Al Zayani commended the academy’s role in training and preparing Ministry of Foreign Affairs personnel for diplomatic service. He expressed appreciation for the board’s efforts in supporting the academy’s training programmes.
Director General of MBMA, Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, thanked the board, led by the Foreign Minister, for its continuous support and guidance, which have contributed to the advancement and development of training programmes in line with global standards. She provided an overview of the latest training activities, ongoing programmes, and future plans aimed at enhancing the skills of the diplomatic and administrative staff at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the board emphasised its commitment to supporting the academy and strengthening its training initiatives to prepare qualified diplomatic professionals capable of meeting global challenges and requirements.
