The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA), Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, chaired the fourth meeting of the Academy’s Board of Trustees for the 2024–2025 academic year, held via video conference in the presence of Board members.

Dr. Al Zayani congratulated the members on the royal confidence placed in them through their appointment to the Board, praising the Academy’s vital role in preparing and training diplomats and administrative staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He commended the Board’s efforts in developing training programs in line with the highest international standards, and emphasized the importance of building on the Academy’s achievements and further aligning training plans with the Ministry’s strategic objectives.
For her part, MBMA Director General, Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Al Zayani. She affirmed the Academy’s continued commitment to preparing qualified diplomatic cadres capable of representing the Kingdom of Bahrain and conveying its noble message in regional and international forums.
She also presented updates on the Academy’s training and language courses, along with future plans aimed at enhancing staff competencies and expanding the scope of upcoming training initiatives.
The Board reviewed the training statistics for 2025, proposed programs, and planned language services, and discussed future strategies to develop academic programs and strengthen the skills of diplomatic and administrative personnel in line with global developments. A number of topics on the agenda were also addressed.
