Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani has chaired the second meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies.
Dr. Al Zayani hailed the efforts by the members to enhance the board’s role in drawing up policies aimed at consolidating the academy’s position and outstanding endeavors to carry out the tasks and responsibilities entrusted to the ministry.
He affirmed the ministry’s keenness on strengthening the role of the academy to achieve the objectives of Bahrain’s foreign policy and prepare advanced training programs to raise the capabilities of diplomats and qualify them to perform their tasks competently.
Dr. Al Zayani commended the tireless efforts of the academy executive management, led by the Executive Director Dr. Shaikha Munira bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, to improve performance and keep pace with academic development.
During the virtual meeting, the minister stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to make the academy an intellectual, education and training place in Bahrain and the region.
