Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, attended the closing ceremony of the International Diplomats “Dhiyafa” programme, which was held by the Mohammed bin Mubarak Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA) today at Bahrain National Theatre.
The ceremony was also attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiques, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Ali Bahzad, and the Director General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al-Ansari, in addition to a number of ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain, senior officials of the Ministry and a number of invitees.
MBMA Executive Director, Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, delivered a speech in which she expressed her thanks and gratitude to the Foreign Minister for his support, which contributed to the success of the programme, stressing that the Academy will continue to exert efforts in the benefit of the advancement of the Kingdom.
She also briefed the attendees on the programme and its courses and field visits, extending her thanks to all governmental institutions and civil society for their cooperation in enriching the information of the diplomats participating in the programme, and to the foreign ministries of the participants for their cooperation.
During the ceremony, a number of diplomats delivered speeches in which they thanked the Academy for the wonderful experience and the warm hospitality.
The Foreign Minister presented certificates of honour to the participating international diplomats. He expressed his thanks to the Academy for organising the programme, highlighting its notable role in promoting connection between international diplomats and consolidating friendship and cooperation relations between Bahrain and different countries, wishing everyone further success.
