Director General of MBMA participates in roundtable discussion at Woodrow Wilson Research Center in Washington

The Director General of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, participated in a roundtable discussion organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the United States of America and the Middle East Women’s Initiative of the Wilson Center in Washington, In the presence of a number of prominent female figures in various fields in the United States of America.

Dr. Shaikha Muneera praised the remarkable achievements of Bahraini women and their active participation in promoting comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. She appreciated the leadership and prominent role of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of the King, the President of the Supreme Council for Women, and the efforts of the Council in advancing Bahraini women as active partners in various fields.

Dr. Shaikh Muneera explained that Bahraini women have become active partners in development, playing prominent roles in work and diplomatic positions. Their abilities and efficiency are demonstrated through continuous support from the ministry and the Equal Opportunities Committee, enabling them to enhance decision-making and contribute beyond Bahrain’s boundaries.

Dr. Shaikha Muneera also discussed the role of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies in enhancing the field of diplomatic training by continuously honing the skills of diplomats.
