Diplomatic Institute’s chief meets India’s FSI director

Executive Director of the Diplomatic Institute, Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, today met the Director of the Foreign Service Institute (FSI), Shri J. S. Mukul in his office in New Delhi at the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India.

Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa expressed her pride in the strong historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Republic of India, and stressed the importance of the progress and development they are undergoing at various levels.

She stressed the need to benefit from the wider Bahraini-Indian diplomatic experience for being the first major source on which diplomats rely in their political work.

She said that the Foreign Service Institute in New Delhi hosts during its current session two diplomats from the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of its excellent endeavors to develop the capabilities of young diplomats.

Director of the Foreign Service Institute expressed his pleasure at the remarkable progress witnessed by the Bahraini-Indian relations, and commended the efforts being exerted by the Diplomatic Institute in the Kingdom of Bahrain which has dispatched young diplomats to hone their skills and achieve the academic objectives required in diplomacy.

Mr. Shri Mukul stressed the interest of the Republic of India in continuing cooperation with the Diplomatic Institute in the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields such as in information exchange, completing the qualifying stages of diplomats and issuing joint research, wishing the Bahraini Diplomatic Institute every success.
