Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police, participated in a security session held as part of the Diplomatic Forum organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to mark the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Diplomatic Day, observed annually on 14 January. The session was attended by Heads of the Kingdom’s diplomatic and consular missions abroad, along with ministry officials.

During the session, the Chief of Police reviewed the security situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlighting its stability based on a balanced security approach grounded in the rule of law and respect for human rights. He also outlined developments in police work, including institutional modernization, the use of advanced technologies, and the development of national capabilities.
He also emphasized the importance of international security cooperation and the close link between policing and diplomacy, as well as the role of Bahraini diplomacy in supporting security efforts and protecting national interests.
The session concluded with an open discussion and exchange of views.
