Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, participated in the 8th Diplomatic Forum 2026, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to mark the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Diplomatic Day, observed annually on 14 January. The forum was attended by senior officials, heads of Bahraini diplomatic and consular missions abroad, and officials from the Ministry.
The Cabinet Affairs Minister took part in a session titled “The Role of Diplomatic Missions in Light of Government Priorities,” during which he affirmed that government action in the Kingdom is guided by the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, through clear planning and targeted programs aimed at sustaining development and achieving national objectives.

He noted that the Government Plan (2023–2026) serves as the overarching framework for government policies and initiatives, translating national priorities into practical and implementable programs. The Plan focuses on key economic and social priorities and on enhancing government efficiency through the Government Priority Framework. He also outlined the mechanism for monitoring implementation through the Government Executive Committee and Higher Committees, chaired by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He added that the fourth edition of the Government Priority Framework is a core tool for organizing government work and strengthening coordination among entities, ensuring effective monitoring of priority programs and optimal use of resources. He explained that implementation is tracked through an integrated electronic system that provides regular progress updates, reinforcing institutional performance and accountability.
He further underscored the vital role of the Kingdom’s diplomatic missions in supporting government efforts by presenting the Government Plan and its priorities in regional and international forums, and by highlighting Bahrain’s comprehensive development trajectory. He affirmed that the integration of government and diplomatic work is a key pillar in advancing national development and reinforcing the Kingdom’s regional and international standing.
