The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States of America, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, visited today the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, and was received by the Director General of the Academy, Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.
During the visit, the Ambassador commended the prominent role played by the Academy, underlining the importance of the constant support MBMA receives from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
He further praised the Academy’s keenness to provide the best training programs that are in line with the requirements of diplomatic work inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, in order to achieve the desired objectives that contribute to qualifying Bahraini diplomatic generations.
In the presence of a number of MoFA diplomats, the Ambassador presented a lecture on diplomatic leadership, in which he referred to his extensive experience in government work, especially diplomatic work, in addition to highlighting the most distinctive features that a diplomat should possess, and some of the challenges that the missions may face and means to devise the necessary solutions.
At the end of the visit, the Ambassador toured the headquarters of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, including the Diplomatic Library.
For her part, MBMA Director-General thanked the Ambassador for his constant support for all programs and events organized by the Academy, noting that his professional experience is a valuable reference for all diplomats.
