A World of Possibilities

2005 - 2019

The Kingdom if Bahrain further solidified its international presence through landmark achievements, including HE Shaikha Haya bint Rashed Al Khalifa’s election as President of the United Nations General Assembly and multiple memberships in pivotal organizations such as the UN Human Rights Council. Regionally, the Kingdom of Bahrain played host to critical events like GCC summits, the Arab-Indian Cooperation Forum, the first GCC-ASEAN Ministerial meeting, and the Peace to Prosperity workshop.

The Kingdom continued to foster collaboration through initiatives such as the establishment of the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence. Another defining achievement of this period was the founding of the Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, established by Royal Decree of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Named after HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Academy symbolizes the Kingdom’s commitment to preparing its diplomats for global challenges while promoting the values of peace and cooperation.
